Netflix is breaking ground in Australia with its first reality TV series made in the country.
What better topic to focus on than influencers lapping up the chilled and dreamy life of Byron Bay?
The streaming service is cooking up what they call a docu-soap about the idyllic town in far northern New South Wales.

The Hills but more boho chic with a tinge of anti-vaxx.
Once considered a bohemian enclave, Byron Bay is now believed to have more social influencers per capita than any other town in Australia. It will be these âhot Instagrammers, living their best lives, being their best selves,â Netflixâs director of Australian and New Zealand content, Que Minh Luu, said in a statement, who will be the subjects in Byron Baes.
