BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Even though Michigan bowling alleys are being allowed to reopen on Monday, the Bronson Strike Zone and Midway Lanes in Coldwater will remain closed as they feel there are many restrictions being imposed by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and Governor Whitmer’s office.
Bronson Strike Zone owner Nate Cranson said, “This decision did not come easy, but under the restrictions in place it does not makes sense for us as a business to open.”
He posted the list of restrictions on the bowling alley’s Facebook page on Sunday.
They include not being allowed to have league, high school or tournament bowling, no food or beverages can be sold or brought into the facility, no more then six people can bowl from a household and no families from multiple households can bowl together.
