Thousands of Tulsans were without power after an ice storm rolled through the area on this day in 2013, leaving a half-inch on trees and power lines.
Most of the outages were in Tulsa County, but residents of Wagoner and Okmulgee counties also experienced outages.
The wicked weather claimed at least two lives statewide, according to authorities.
