Friday, Dec. 18
9:03 p.m. A deputy was sent to a Mills Township business for a report of a possible intoxicated worker. The complainant said he was treated inappropriately while picking up food from a server who was possibly intoxicated. The deputy made contact with the owner of the business, who said the complainant was making sexual comments to the server. The server was not present when the deputy arrived.

David North recently stood outside of Kroger in Midland for a few hours ringing a bell for the Salvation Army s Red Kettle Campaign. No stranger to being out in all types of weather, North gives several reasons why he has spent the last 13 years as a bell ringer. The first is that he likes to help people. (Photo by Niky House)
David North of Midland has participated as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army for the past 13 seasons.
He seems to have a knack for remembering people’s names, although he doesn’t really have to work at it. He says that just comes naturally.

11:12 p.m. Deputies responded to a car-deer crash in Larkin Township.
10:36 p.m. Officers performed a warrant arrest in the area of West Indian Street and Eastman Avenue.
7:38 p.m. Officers responded to a report of aggravated domestic assault in the 700 block of Wildes Street.
