You Should Be Dancing is a giant DISCO DANCING celebration! A night of incredibly danceable disco hits. A Boogie Wonderland featuring classic tunes groovy enough to make even a statue move! We are very excited to announce our first shows of 2021! We hope you can make it along to dance up a storm.
Due to unforeseen circumstances we are unable to host our disco event You Should Be Dancing at The Cabana on April 9th. Fortunately after a bit of searching we have found an alternative venue option who are happy to host us. The Urban Winery. Their address is 3 Ossian St, Ahuriri. We hope you can still make it.

April 4, 2021- Mike Lee Mike kicks off our Jazzy Afternoons Jazz Appreciation Month with a ferocious roaring start with some very hardcore seasoned jazz professionals.
Mike Lee locally has run some very successful and widely popular Jazz jams. - from Cecils to the Montclair Social Club and a few popular places in between. As a performing musician his recent associations include The Jimmy Heath Orchestra, The Dizzy Gillespie Orchestra, Wallace Roney s Universe Orchestra, The Oliver Lake Big Band, The Loston Harris Trio, The Nat Adderley Jr. Quartet, etc, He performs regularly at venues such as The Bluenote, Dizzy s Club Coca-Cola, Smalls, The Jazz Gallery, Fat Cat, and Bemelmans Bar at NYC Carlyle Hotel.
WORLD-FAMOUS author Irvine Welsh is among the latest list of stars confirmed for this year’s Fringe by the Sea festival in North Berwick. Other new names include TV personality Gail Porter, presenter Paul Murton (pictured below), writer and doctor Gavin Francis, and author Helen McClory. Scottish author Welsh is the first of the summer festival’s literary guests to be announced and looks set to be a huge draw for the town’s socially distanced event. Rory Steel, festival director, said: “Having announced that we have laid plans to return this summer with some acts who were programmed last year, we are really pleased to bring this group of writers and presenters to North Berwick.”
