COLUMBIA, Mo. About 1,500 University of Missouri graduates who didn t get the chance to walk across the stage last year because of the pandemic are returning to campus this weekend to join this year s class for commencement ceremonies.
The Columbia Missourian reports that Annie Adrian will bring her 7-week-old son Nico with her, along with her parents and two sisters, as she marks the milestone.

About 1,500 University of Missouri graduates who didn’t get the chance to walk across the stage last year because of the pandemic are returning to campus this weekend for a long-delayed celebration.
The Columbia Missourian reports that Annie Adrian will bring her 7-week-old son Nico with her, along with her parents and two sisters, as she marks the milestone.
“I took the idea of walking for granted once the pandemic began,” said Adrian, who majored in hospitality management. “It will be even more special now because my son will get to see me graduate. It was a huge motivation for coming back.”
Full Capacity Classes and Concerts Back at Mizzou This Fall
Mizzou is preparing for full capacity, in person classes and activities in the fall of 2021. This announcement comes about three weeks after Mizzou Athletics announced the football team would play in front of capacity crowds at Faurot Field.
“We continue to stay in close communication with our own health experts as well as our local public health officials as we actively prepare for a full-capacity, in-person opening,” MU President Mun Choi said in a University release. “Our thanks go to the thousands of individuals who have helped get us to this point. It would not be possible without the hard work of every member of our campus community.
