Mississippi State took a 2-0 lead in the game at the top of the second inning, but the Gators didn’t waste any time to chomp back. After Jackie McKenna’s two-out double down the left-field line, Elizabeth Hightower buckled down and went on to pitch 2.1 scoreless frames.
The score for Mississippi State remained at 2-0 as the Gators began their come-up. Florida’s offense showed out in the bottom half of the 5th inning to take the lead 3-2 when Kendyl Lindaman hit a three-run homer allowing Charla Echols and Emily Wilkie to also score.

A crack recruiter, Linguist’s hire was the first widely regarded sign of hope that Harbaugh could turn the program around following last year’s 2-4 season. Linguist helped them secure commitments from legacy five-star Will Johnson and TN 4 Kody Jones for the 2022 class, and as of last week the Wolverines appeared to have a strong chance with several more elite athletes in the secondary. Most likely the fallout from today has changed that position significantly, especially with Jones, who committed just days after Linguist s hire. Michigan will also have to start over with top target TN 4 Myles Pollard, and explain to everyone why they go through so much staff turnover.

NFL Draft Day feels a lot like Christmas. You never know what you re going to get, and there s sure to be some surprises to go along with the lumps of coal that are draft picks. The Saints enter Thursday evening with the 28th overall selection, and all of the past couple of months have been spent predicting what the team will do. Ahead of that, we ll look at a final mock draft for New Orleans.
We re going to only do four rounds, and trust me, it was difficult to do anything past three just because it s really difficult to project anything in the late rounds, and it honestly serves more of a purpose to get to know a prospect at that point. LOS ANGELES - Former Kentucky Wildcats basketball player Terrence Clarke was killed in a crash in Los Angeles Thursday, his agent confirms.
According to a report from FOX 56 in Lexington, Kentucky, police responded to a call of a crash a little before 2:15 p.m. PT near the intersection of Winnetka Avenue and Nordhoff Street in the Chatsworth area.
