HB 153 and HB 574 both will make the work occurring on a farm easier and safer. HB153 passed through the House with bipartisan support but HB 574 passed along party lines.

WEST PLAINS, MO – Ozarks Healthcare, the Missouri National Guard, Howell County Health Department, and City of West Plains are partnering to host a mass COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the West Plains Civic Center on Feb. 19. Booster doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine only will be administered to those who received their initial dose of the vaccine at the initial clinic on Jan. 29. Health officials encourage those who are eligible to receive their second dose of the vaccine on Feb. 19 to not to skip or miss the clinic due to vaccine availability and health concerns. "There are rumors circulating about a first dose being enough to protect you against COVID-19," Mahan said. Phelps Health to temporarily move COVID-19 vaccination clinics

The Rolla Daily News Phelps Health is temporarily moving its COVID-19 vaccination clinics from the 10th St. parking lot, across from the emergency department, to Rolla Church of Christ. Beginning Monday and continuing through April 2, individuals who have appointments to get the COVID-19 vaccine from Phelps Health will need to go to the Church of Christ, at 1303 Nagogami Road, in Rolla.  Phelps Health will hold COVID-19 vaccination clinics by appointment only from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. And from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday.  Appointments will take place inside of the church.  Individuals being vaccinated are asked not to bring additional people into the facility unless they require assistance to ensure that social distancing is maintained.

Local News: Scott County still among top counties in vaccines given (2/9/21)

Tuesday, February 9, 2021 By David Jenkins/Standard Democrat While Missouri continues to increase the number of COVID-19 vaccines, Scott County remains one of the top-10 counties in the state for percentage of residents who have received the vaccine. According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, 8.9% of Missourians have received at least one dose of the vaccine with 154,270 receiving doses in the last week. Just under 3% have received two doses of the vaccine. As of Tuesday morning, Scott County is sixth in Missouri with 14% of residents receiving a dose of the vaccine. In Scott County, 6,357 doses have been given to residents with 5,373 receiving one dose and 978 receiving both doses. In the past week, 847 doses have been given to Scott County residents.
