SHREVEPORT, La- At 9:43 Shreveport police responded to a shooting on Missouri Avenue near the Louisiana State Fair. SPD told KTBS on the scene that two groups of people were having an altercation at the State Fair and continued off the premise onto Missouri street were a shooting occurred between people in the groups.Â
As a result of the shooting, two males were shot and brought to Ochsner LSU Health to be treated. KTBS was told the two victims were shot in the legs and have non-life threatening injuries. Police were not able to arrest any suspects at the scene.
Police were able to speak with people who saw what happened. At the time detectives were headed to the scene to gather information from those witnesses to help identify who the suspects are. We are told police will release information to get help from the public to help find the suspects once information is available.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) Shreveport police are investigating a report of a shooting.
Caddo 911 records show Fire Department medics were dispatched to a medical emergency at Missouri Avenue at Greenwood Road at 9:42 p.m. Sunday, May 9. That’s just blocks away from the Louisiana State Fair Grounds.

A dispatcher later confirmed that the medics transported no one because the victim was taken to the hospital by private vehicle.
Sedalia Police Reports For May 10, 2021

Early Monday morning, Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 300 block of McAnally Court in reference to a disturbance with weapons. When Officers arrived, they made contact with the victim, who said her boyfriend had gotten angry and started cutting up furniture in her apartment. The victim was able to get the suspect out of the house. The suspect had left the area prior to Officer s arrival. A request for charges of Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree and Property Damage in the 2nd Degree has been submitted to the prosecutor.
Shreveport Shooting on Missouri Ave. Leaves Two Injured
Shreveport Police were called to the scene of a shooting on Missouri Avenue near Pershing Street at 9:43 p.m. Shreveport Police officers said that an altercation at the Louisiana State Fair spilled out in to the street. The fighting continued on to Missouri Avenue near The Boys and Girls Club.
A 21 year old man was shot in the leg, and a 60 year old man was shot in the thigh. Both men were taken to the hospital for treatment and are expected to recover.
Shreveport police and fire had over 10 units at the location to investigate the incident. No suspects have been arrested at this time, though witnesses helped police to aid with the suspect s identities.
