The son of the University of Michigan's legendary football coach, Bo Schembechler, alleged Thursday that he was sexually abused by a former team doctor being investigated by the school and that his father knew and did nothing.

Bo Schembechler was always known as a tough as nails coach that demanded the best from his players but according to one of his sons he did not do his best for his players. In a shocking revelation Wednesday night Bo Schembechler’s son Matt, who is now 62 years old, said he told he dad that former team doctor Robert Anderson had molested him during a physical exam in the late 1960’s when Matt was 10 years old. Matt said that Bo ignored his son’s claims and in fact went to bat for Anderson numerous times over the years. Matt went on to say after he made the allegations to Bo Bo got physical with not only Matt but also his mother.

Twenty-seven miles to the northeast, Bo s son, Matt, stood in front of media members Thursday afternoon to tell the world he was sexually assaulted in 1969 by a football team doctor, told his dad about it and nothing was done.
