WASHINGTON As President Joe Biden nears his 100th day in office, slightly more than half of Americans say they approve of his job performance. Biden gets his highest marks on handling the Covid-19 pandemic and his lowest on the situation at the southern border.
Those are the results of a new national NBC News poll, which also found a public thats largely supportive of Bidens top legislative priorities; more optimistic about defeating the pandemic; and more bullish about the countrys direction than it was back in January.

WACO, TX â The City of Waco is taking a good look within to find the most efficient use of resources with the lowest impact on the planet. I think clean energy and sustainable energy is just good for the environment in general, and again as technology catches up to a practical application and a cost-effective application, I think that s what gets everybody s attention, said City of Waco Councilmember Jim Holmes.
Last summer, Waco city officials, along with consultants, put together an energy guidance document, which is basically a playbook on the city s sustainability from air and water quality to energy and pollution.

Mark Hutchinson s Banks Peninsula farm is experiencing the second lowest rainfall in 100 years – but it s still not considered a drought.
Hutchinson s Akaroa sheep and beef farm only recorded 500ml for 2020, he told The Country s Jamie Mackay.
Read More Just to put that in perspective, the lowest recorded in our area in the last 100 years is 470ml, he said. Apparently we re still only very dry, we re not in a drought – I d hate to see what a drought s like.

The farm hadn t caught the southerly rain typical of Bank Peninsula, which Hutchinson found frustrating .
