Providence provides COVID-19 vaccines to groups who work with vulnerable populations

Earlier this week, Providence began an effort to administer coronavirus vaccines for members of local organizations who work with particularly vulnerable groups, the healthcare provider says. Providence Health & Services said it will be vaccinating 2,000 employees and volunteers from community partners who provide essential services, including food, housing, and health care throughout the state. In the Medford area, those organizations were offered free vaccines during a special clinic that began on Wednesday. “Getting and distributing vaccines is challenging, as we’ve learned with our own caregivers and providers.
