ArtScience Museum VR Gallery Launched For New Immersive Experience
ArtScience Museum opens a virtual door into a new frontier of museum experience with the launch of its new permanent VR Gallery. Opening on 10 July, ArtScience Museum VR Gallery at Level 4 of ArtScience Museum celebrates curiosity, innovation and experimentation through virtual reality artworks.
ArtScience Museum VR Gallery – New Immersive Experience
Equipped with state-of-the-art virtual reality (VR) headsets and controllers, the VR Gallery invites you to encounter unique immersive experiences from some of the world’s most renowned artists, museums and film festivals. Opening as part of ArtScience Museum’s 10th-anniversary programme, the VR Gallery launches with a presentation of virtual reality artworks by three of the world’s best known contemporary artists – Olafur Eliasson, Marina Abramović and Anish Kapoor.

.- The 2021 summer exhibition is dedicated to Anri Sala. Originally planned for 2020, the exhibition has been postponed for a year. It is taking place concurrently with the Bregenz Festival, which Kunsthaus Bregenz is collaborating with in staging the world premiere of the opera Wind by Alexander Moosbrugger in 2021, as well as hosting festival concerts.
Musical phenomena play a major role in Anri Salas work. His transformative, time-based works develop from a dense network of relations between sound, image, and architecture. A recurring medium in the exhibition is film. In contrast to conventional cinema, Sala does not employ a strict narrative or even actors, it is rather
