Shaheed Waqar Ahmad Seth Memorial Hall inaugurated in Dir

TIMERGRA: Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) Qaiser Rasheed Khan visited the District Complex in Lower Dir here on Wednesday and inaugurated the Shaheed Waqar Ahmad Seth Memorial Hall recently constructed at a cost of Rs 10 million.
He was accompanied by Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim, Justice Waqar Ahmed, registrar of the Peshawar High Court and the commissioner of Malakand. The PHC chief justice planted a tree at the Bar Room of the District Judicial Complex.
After a welcome note by District and Sessions Judge, the president of the District Bar Association presented the address of welcome and demanded the construction of a new judicial complex, provision of funds for providing basic facilities for lawyers and litigants, furniture for the newly constructed Shaheed Waqar Ahmad Seth Memorial Hall, video link facilities and posting of an Additional District & Sessions Judge and a civil judge.
PHC CJ inaugurates Bannu Bench building

PESHAWAR: Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court Justice Qaiser Rashid Khan inaugurated on Monday the newly constructed building, housing the PHC Bannu Bench.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by judges of the PHC, Bannu Bench, officers of the district administration, office-bearers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council, High Court Bar Association, District Bar Association, lawyers and media persons.
The Chief Engineer (South) of the Communications and Works Department gave a briefing to the chief justice and the guests about the project which was followed by an inspection of the building.
It was stated that the administrative approval of the project amounted to Rs 950 million while the total area of the building was 27.5 kanal.

Muhammad Atif Khan administered oath to lawyers representatives lawyers at a ceremony here.
Speaking on the occasion, Atif Khan said that the federal government was trying its best to make the justice system speedy and easy.
“There are several stakeholders and due to which the reforms process in the judicial system is slow,” he said, adding, the government had allocated 2,000 kanals of land for the special technology zone near Rashaki industrial zone.
He added that 400 kanals were allocated for Engineering University Mardan (EUM). He added that the provincial government would establish advanced digital skills and Artificial Intelligence at AWKU’s Shankir campus.
