Here s something big to celebrate great food at great local eateries! Downtown Pittsfield, Inc. has announced that March will be Downtown Pittsfield Restaurant Month!
According to a story reported on by WTEN/10 News Albany, this is a month-long promotion highlighting Pittsfield’s downtown restaurants. Restaurant Month runs from March 1 to March 31.
People are encouraged to dine local for the month of March to help support local restaurants during the pandemic.
Eaters are encouraged to support their local restaurants by posting a photo of their meal on social media with #dinelocal and sharing it with Downtown Pittsfield Restaurant Month’s Facebook page by tagging @downtownpittsfieldrestaurantmonth.

After the worst year for restaurants and their workers in memory, I’m happy to put 2020 in our rearview mirror and start thinking about what 2021 might look like.
With good and exciting news in short supply, it’s nice to think about what the new year will bring with it.
This list of forthcoming restaurants won’t be as robust as in years past, because most restaurant owners will probably spend most of their energy on their current projects, trying to figure out how to bridge through the spring and early summer to what promises to be a much brighter fall.
