Red Bank Captures 6AA Softball Championship Back-To-Back Lady Lions Homeruns Seal Signal Mountain s Fate Monday, May 10, 2021 - by William Shelton Red Bank put together an all-around solid performance to beat Signal Mountain, 10-6, and finally got to lift the District 6AA championship plaque they came so close to winning last season. “It feels good,” Red Bank head coach Mandi Munn said while holding her teams’ newest trophy. “This senior class has worked hard, especially after last year’s loss, this feels good.” Coach Munn’s side dominated the early innings and were up 8-0 by the end of the second, but Signal Mountain scored the next six runs. Going into the sixth inning the Eagles were still down 8-6, but they had all the momentum.
