COVID-19 Latest: 193 New Cases as 242 People Recovered
Figures issued in the daily medical bulettin by Malta’s Ministry of Health show a decline in Malta’s COVID-19 active cases, which currently stand at 2,471 (down by 50 when compared to yesterday’s figures.)
These figures come after 2,782 swab tests which were carried out in the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, a 96-year old male died at Mater Dei Hospital whilst being COVID-19 positive, bringing Malta’s death toll to 305.
As to what regards the National Vaccination Programme, till yesterday 64,419 COVID-19 vaccine doses were administered, of which, 20,531 were 2nd doses.
