In 2020, more than 100 billion packages were sent globally, and McKinsey & Company’s report, The Future of Parcel Delivery: Drones and Disruption, forecasts this will double by 2030. By 2025, parcels are set to equal mail in volume. Here I Am: Making Photographs with Malcolm Wilson, spotlights the renowned Appalachian photographer. It will be shown on KETKY, the network s Kentucky channel, on Monday, July 5, at 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 7, at noon, and Thursday, July 8 at 5 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. According to Jason French, BCM s curator of collections, the documentary stems from an exhibit that was originally planned at the museum this past fall in conjunction with the FotoFocus 2020 Biennial. Unfortunately, the epidemic forced the cancellation of FotoFocus and our exhibit, French said. But we didn’t want to give up the opportunity to share Malcolm s incredible photographs. So we decided to produce a video that would profile his work.
