The Builders Merchants Federation has welcomed Robert Price (Builders’ Merchants) back into membership.
Established in 1847, Robert Price is one of the oldest merchants in country. Today it is the largest independent merchant in South East Wales employing some 250 people and serving a diverse customer base that encompasses housebuilders, commercial contractors, public sector organisations, local tradesmen and DIYers.

Robert Price Builders’ Merchants acquires Builders’ Bitz 22 February, 2021 Robert Price has welcomed Aberdare-based building and roofing suppliers, Builders’ Bitz, into its group.
Operating in the Aberdare and Mountain Ash Valley, the newly acquired Builders’ Bitz will become the twenty-third branch in the Robert Price group.
As the largest independent builders’ merchants in South East Wales, Robert Price operates multiple builders’ merchants across the region, as well as a selection of specialist branches for roofing, timber, insulation, and agricultural supplies.
Although they are integrating into the Robert Price network, Builders’ Bitz will continue to trade under the Builders’ Bitz banner, but with some new benefits for the customer. This includes access to Robert Price’s specialist services and an increased stock range.

Everton Women’s attacking midfielder Molly Pike has joined Bristol City on loan for the remainder of the 2020/21 campaign.
The 20-year-old has so far made 17 first team league appearances in her first 18 months with the Toffees, and has been capped by England at U-17, U-18 and U-19 levels.
Bristol City head coach Matt Beard told bcfc.co.uk: “Molly is an exciting young English talent, who has proven she can perform at Barclays FAWSL level.
