Molly s friends and family organise event to support Aware charity

Family and friends of a young Derry woman who died last year are organising a special fundraising event in her memory.
Molly Elliott died on June 28.
Molly, who lived in the Top of the Hill area of the city, was only 20-years-old.
Her sudden death left her family and many friends heartbroken.
Now as Molly s first anniversary approaches, her family are organising A Walk for Molly .
They will be walking 100 miles over the month of June to raise money for the Aware charity which supports people suffering from depression and other mental health illnesses.

George M. Lammers, 80, of Wilson, WY; formerly from Alton, IL, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 4:51 a.m. at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on December 25, 1940 in Alton, IL, the son of George Mitchell Sr. and Annamae (Horn) Lammers.
On September 10
th, 1966 he married Joan Wilder Emery. She preceded him in death on December 2, 2020.
George was a civil engineer, having graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Illinois at Carbondale. He retired in 1988, after a 25-year career with the Illinois Department of Transportation.
Besides spending time enjoying retired life with his family and grandchildren, George also enjoyed golfing, fishing, snow skiing, sport shooting, flying, and traveling.
