OKC Bombing Survivor Looking For Woman Who Saved Her From The Rubble As A Child

By: Feliz Romero OKLAHOMA CITY - Stephanie Zimmerman was only 4 years old, but she distinctly remembers being lost in a sea of rubble when a woman s actions saved her life. “Rubble everywhere, I saw a little bit of sunlight, so we started hearing towards the exit and I remember walking out and I actually vividly remember the burning tree and some lady with blood all over her face,” she said. Zimmerman was at the YMCA daycare across the street from the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1995, when she said chaos erupted. “I remember looking out the building and seeing it before it exploded. I remember seeing a car drive up, turn away, look back and I remember just the silent loudness of the bomb,” said Zimmerman.
