Kenny Cooper determined to keep his sister Claire s memory alive

AN inspirational brother whose sister died when she was just 39 is raising awareness of strokes in younger people. Kenny Cooper, 31, walked 5K every single day in December in memory of his late sister Claire McIntryre, from Budhill, who passed away after having a stroke. The multi-skilled engineer said: “Claire had battled a few health problems over the years, but had powered through and was in a good place. “But in October 2019, she suffered two strokes and tragically passed away after battling on for nearly a week in the ICU at Glasgow Royal.” Kenny, from Motherwell, has raised more than £2,400 for Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland and is determined to keep his sister’s memory alive.
