COVID-19 vaccine rates dwindle; variant makes them more important The Daily Telegram ADRIAN  The county has moved away from mass vaccination clinics as the number of people getting vaccinated has dwindled.   A couple of months ago, the vaccination rate was around 40% and today it stands at 45.59%, according to reports from the Michigan Department of Human Services.   “We’re moving from the large vaccination clinics to a model that makes it more convenient for people,” Martha Hall, Lenawee County health officer said. “We’re not seeing huge numbers. Before we were seeing very large numbers of people coming in in a day, and those numbers are definitely lower than what they were. In addition to being available at the Health Department, the vaccine is also available through pharmacies and health care providers here in the county.”
