New Priority Copper-Silver Target Area in BotswanaSydney, Mar 5, 2021 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Cobre Limited (
ASX:CBE) is pleased to provide the following update on Kalahari Metals Limited s (KML) exploration activities in Botswana through KML s wholly owned Kitlanya East (KIT-E) project.
As first announced to the ASX on 24 August 2020, KML is subject to an agreement between Cobre and the existing shareholders of KML, under which Cobre Kalahari Pty Ltd (a wholly owned subsidiary of Cobre) will acquire up to a 51% interest in KML (Transaction). Completion of the Transaction is subject to a number of conditions being satisfied, including shareholder approval at an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on 6 April 2021.
Call for closure of lay-bys CLWYD West MS Darren Millar and two County Councillors are calling for a number of lay-bys in Denbighshire to be temporarily closed to deter people from breaking Covid-19 rules. Mr Millar and Denbighshire County Councillors Martyn Holland and Huw Williams are concerned people are parking in lay-bys along the A494 to access nearby fields to go walking and sledging during lockdown, despite Welsh Government stating people should not travel for exercise. They are therefore calling for the lay-bys to be closed off to discourage people from travelling to these areas. Mr Millar said: “In between Christmas and New Year, DCC rightly took the decision to close the car parks at Loggerheads and Moel Famau following reports of large numbers gathering there.
