ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame rowing team is honoring the Notre Dame Athletics Department with the design of their new racing shell.
The 2020 Hudson USP, named “2020 Vision” by the 2021 senior rowing class, has the name of every Notre Dame Athletics Department employee, as of January 2021, printed on its exterior.
“We wanted to honor the hard work, determination and support we have received from the entire athletic department throughout the challenge of the past year,” head rowing coach Martin Stone said. “No one on our team is any more important than one of the names on the side of the boat. They have all played a role in our ability to return to competition and they will race with us the rest of the season.”
Mason also was sentenced to over two years for unlawful use of a weapon for shooting at Jarod Pultz while Mason fled the scene and five years in prison for unlawful use of a weapon for shooting at Robert Marshall when Mason fled the scene. He also received 364 days in the Coos County Jail for recklessly endangering another person pertaining to one of the shots by Mason striking a nearby residence and passing through an occupied room.
Mason entered a guilty plea to the charges earlier this month.
Judge Stone ordered that all five sentences will be served consecutively, meaning the sentences total 26 years of incarceration without any form of early release.
