Play now Plymouth’s famous Grade II listed Duke of Cornwall Hotel has been saved and staff will get their jobs back.
The previous general manager, Peter Adams, has been appointed to the same post with the new company and it is intended that, over the coming weeks, a number of other staff from the 52 who were made redundant when the hotel closed in February 2021 will also be offered jobs with RBH as soon as the hotel is permitted to re-open when Covid-19 lockdown restrictions are lifted.
Former King s Lynn Stars rider and Ipswich Witch ace dies

Former Kingâs Lynn rider and speedway legend Olle Nygren has passed away at the age of 91.
The Swedish sensation helped with the layout and construction of the Lynn track at Saddlebow Road during the early 1960s.
The former world No.3 rode for Lynn at the back end of his glittering career, in 1975 when future world champion Michael Lee made his Stars debut.

A superb all-round motorcyclist, after retirement from competitive racing his speedway training schools became very well-known at the now-named Adrian Flux Arena at Lynn.

So on Feb. 1 before their playoff game, the Aces held a memorial at their school outside Philadelphia to honor the man who led them to their first state championship (1996), broke Wilt Chamberlain’s Southeastern Pennsylvania scoring record (2,833 to 2,252) and inspired a program with his competitiveness and talent.
