In the world of indie-rock, there isn’t a band that embodies the phrase ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ quite like Real Estate. For more than a decade, the Ridgewood, New Jersey natives have been churning out the same blend of breezy, laid-back music perfect for soundtracking pool parties and ordinary malaise. Just pick any album from their discography and you’re not likely to go wrong. It’s remarkable that this far down the line having been in essentially the same lane the entire time so many of their records have managed to retain their sheen.

Real Estate will release new EP Half A Human on March 26th.
The band s collaboration heavy album The Main Thing was released last year, the work of a project in transition. Half A Human finds the group coming out on the other side of this process, channeling the additional responsibilities and stresses life can bring.
Out on March 26th, the EP is trailed by new song The Main Thing and it s a gilded piece of pop-edged indie, replete with the pangs of melancholy only Real Estate seem to reach.
