The woman accused by a former romantic partner of stealing Nancy Pelosi’s laptop during the Capitol riot and allegedly planning to sell it to Russia was released from prison on Thursday under surveillance. Riley Williams’ attorney told the court that some of the charges against her client are “exaggerated,” saying the ex-boyfriend Williams reported to the FBI was abusive.
