Montreal Pena is the only member of the Cowboys’ highly touted 2020 class that hasn’t played this season.
The 6-foot-10 bouncy forward hasn’t even been available on the bench for Mike Boynton for what Oklahoma State has called personal reasons. On Friday, Boynton said there was no update on Pena’s status.
“I promise as soon as there is [an update], we’ll provide one,” Boynton said. “We’re trying to help him work through some personal issues. Obviously don’t want to get into the specifics of it, but we care for him, we love him, he’s around. We’ll try to help him. A lot of this is about basketball, and when he’s ready to help us basketball-wise he will, but he can’t help us in basketball if we can’t help him in his personal life. So, we need to do that first.”

David Bumgardner, a 21-year-old from Arlington, is a Southern Baptist minister and lifelong Republican he also publicly endorsed President-elect Joe Biden on Facebook in September.
That decision ultimately played a role in the loss of his ministry license along with a wave of negative pushback, as
