Austin Wilhite capped a six-run fifth to power No. 17 Georgia Tech baseball past Florida State 9-8 on Sunday afternoon at Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium.
The Yellow Jackets’ (19-16, 15-12 ACC) win gave head coach
Danny Hall his 1,300th career victory, becoming the 20th coach all-time in Division I history to reach the milestone and the fourth active head coach.
Also recording multiple hits was
Justyn-Henry Malloy who had an RBI double as well.
Luke Waddell finished with two RBI,
Jake DeLeo knocked in two runs on a double and
Andrew Jenkins had a sac fly to round out the offense.
