The Sharks spotted Colorado a 2-0 lead before storming back to score the next six for a 6-2 win at SAP Center on Monday night.
Rudolfs Balcers scored a tie-breaking goal at 4:18 of the third period and Timo Meier added a career-high three assists as San Jose snapped a two-game losing streak that began at the outset of a critical seven-game homestand.
“Putting 60 (minutes) has been a challenge,” Sharks head coach Bob Boughner said. “Everyone’s sick of talking about detail and structure. … Let’s just go out and do it.”

Sloppy is the term being used all over the league to describe play in the first two weeks of the season. After no exhibition games and no action at all for seven teams in the past 10 months there have been plenty of odd-man rushes and mistakes, with six goals a game being scored on average.
