In the year since former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin killed George Floyd, law enforcement killed hundreds of people of color in the United States. While the guilty Chauvin verdict was a victory for the Floyd family, justice never came for other families of people killed by police.
Those families, and other organizers in Minnesota, are still calling for police accountability.

The Cardinals signed both their sixth-round picks outside linebacker Victor Dimukeje and cornerback Gowan to four-year contracts Tuesday, as they move closer to getting the entire draft class under contract. Around this time year, NFL teams would be looking to create additional cap space by releasing or trading players after June 1st.
There are greater cap savings in store if players are released after that date instead of prior but with a caveat.
NFL clubs are allowed to designate only up to two players as a post-June 1 cut. Therefore, teams cannot just release any number of players on their roster that they want to take advantage of the greater savings.
