Yes, Destiny: you are beautiful. It’s the rest of us who are ugly
Destiny, you are beautiful. And that’s not an opinion of mine; it is a self-evident FACT. The rest of us out here, though? We’re the ugly ones. And we just don’t deserve you at all…

But before turning to the topic at hand… please bear with me while I indulge you with a small memory from my childhood.
The year was 1977… actually, I can even tell you the precise date. It must have been Tuesday, August 16, 1977. Early evening. I was six years old, sitting in the back of my father’s car – a ‘peacock-blue’ Triumph Herald (to this day, I can still almost smell the leather upholstery) and we had just pulled into a petrol station to fill her up.

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood
Sky Premiere, 8.30pm Starring Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio. This Quentin Tarantino film set in 1969 follows Rick Dalton (DiCaprio) as a fading Hollywood star and his stunt double and best buddy Cliff Booth (Pitt). It also pulls in characters ranging from Bruce Lee to Mama Cass as it explores one of the darkest yet most fascinating periods of Hollywood history. Central to the movie is the Manson Family of murderous hippies whom Booth somehow gets involved with. Dalton gets dragged in, too, and it all ends in typical Tarantino fashion – bloodily! When four young, bleary-eyed rock musicians ambled into the midtown Manhattan office of General Artists Corp. one June afternoon in 1966, they could have had no idea that what they were about to hear would inform their careers and lives forever.
“You guys wanna play on the Beatles’ August tour across America?” a GAC exec asked the band members of the Remains, who had all recently dropped out of Boston University to play and write songs full-time. “If you do, I can get you on it.”
