The Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the Kingdom’s intention to hold Hajj ritual for this year.
But it will be organised in a manner that ensures preserving the health and safety of pilgrims, in accordance with the health, security and regulatory controls and standards, so that pilgrims can perform their rituals easily and in a safe environment.
The Ministry affirmed that the health authorities in Saudi Arabia are continuing to assess conditions and take all measures to ensure preserving human health, pointing out that the details of the controls and operational plans for this year s Hajj will be announced later.

Saudi Arabia requires COVID-19 vaccination for Umrah pilgrims
MAKKAH, 6th April, 2021 (WAM) Saudi Arabia has announced that all worshippers who plan to participate in Umrah during the Holy Month of Ramadan must be vaccinated against COVID-19, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
A campaign Tawakkalna has also been launched by the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet’s Holy Mosque, to ensure all employees participating in Umrah, as well as worshipers, are vaccinated.
According to SPA, the Spokesman of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Holy Mosque, Hani bin Hosni Haider, said that the presidency obligated all its employees participating in the service of Umrah performers and worshipers to take vaccines, through launching a vaccination campaign in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, in order to ensure their safety and the safety of all the visitors of the Grand Holy Mosque, to perform their rituals with ease, taki

RIYADH The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance carried out 21,288 inspection tours in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s mosques during the sixth week of following up the implementation of precautionary measures and health protocols adopted by the Ministry in coordination with competent authorities to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
According to a report issued on Monday by the ministry s agency for mosque affairs, the ministry carried out 125,435 inspection tours within six weeks to achieve the highest standards of safety in the mosques of Saudi Arabia.
The report indicated that the ministry detected 314 violations of preventive measures, which were immediately addressed, noting that violations that were detected varied between not wearing face masks and not bringing prayer rugs, in addition to not implementing physical distancing.
