The Sokoto State Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has donated fourty million naira to the families of the victims who died in a boat mishap in Warrah, Ngaski Local Government of Kebbi State, recently. Tambuwal announced the donation while on a condolence and sympathy visit to his Kebbi State counterpart, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, at Government House, Birnin Kebbi, on Saturday. The Sokoto State Governor said he was in Kebbi State to condole and sympathise with the Government and people of Kebbi State, especially the people of Yauri Emirate, over the unfortunate boat accident which led to the sad loss of many lives .

Banditry: Matawalle begs judges for cooperation, justice

Daily Post Nigeria Published Governor Matawalle said that there was no society where peace can reign without justice. He commended the state Legislative and Judicial arms for maintaining good working relationship with the executive, especially in the state government’s fight against banditry. The Governor made the commendation while hosting the two arms of government to a Ramadan fast break at his residence, in Gusau the State capital. He expressed satisfaction over the way the legislators and members of the judiciary support government policies and programmes, especially in the fight against armed banditry and other criminalities in the state.
