“We haven’t talked about 2021 or a multiyear deal right now,” Montes de Oca told Speier.
Devers is salary-arbitration eligible for the first time in 2021. He isn’t eligible for free agency until after the 2023 season.
This coming Friday marks the deadline for arbitration-eligible players and MLB teams to exchange salary figures. Devers is the only Red Sox salary-arbitration player who has not yet agreed to a 2021 contract with Boston.

Two bodies from Isla Blanca property identified as missing construction workers

Isla Mujeres, Q.R. –The State Attorney General Oscar Montes de Oca, has confirmed two bodies found on a property near Isla Blanca on mainland Isla Mujeres have been identified from skeletal remains.
The identification of the bodies has not been released publicly, however, Montes de Oca said that both men correspond to construction workers reported as missing. Both bodies will be turned over to their families.
“We are already in the progress of the identification of the victims. We already have two with a high probability of knowing who they are. The delivery of the bodies to the relatives continues. I want to tell you that there are two detainees who have participated in those events and that they are the ones who have provided the information about how the events happened,” he explained.
