News
2020 was an unprecedented year in the history of squash, with the global COVID-19 pandemic plunging the sport into a period of uncertainty and fundamentally changing the way we all live our lives.

CIB Black Ball Open RD2: Abouelghar on Top Form
News
Egypt’s World No.12 Mohamed Abouelghar secured a quarter final berth at the CIB Black Ball Open with an 11-6, 11-5, 11-6 victory over France’s Gregoire Marche.
Abouelghar has struggled with a disappointing 2020 by his usual high standards, claiming just one victory at the Manchester Open prior to this tournament. However, the Egyptian looked back to his best with a performance of master shot-making against Marche to advance.
The 27-year-old was firing on all cylinders in all three games, with Marche unable to make any inroads in the match as Abouelghar took full control to see out the victory in 32 minutes.
