Sophomore forward Jamison Battle earned a spot on the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Third Team, according to a press release Wednesday.
Battle was the sole Colonial to earn a postseason accolade this season, and the award marked his second postseason honor in his young career after being named to the All-Rookie Team last year. The All-Conference Third Team nomination came after the big man announced his intention to transfer from the program Monday.

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Of all the players in the Atlantic 10, VCUâs Bones Hyland made his case to be considered the best. On Wednesday, he was rewarded for it.
Hyland was named the leagueâs Player of the Year, the first Ram to win the honor since the program joined the A-10 in 2012. Heâs also the first VCU player to earn the top award in any league since Eric Maynor won back-to-back CAA Player of the Year accolades in 2008 and 2009.
