The Grants Manager is an integral part of the Write On Fundraising team. In addition to serving as a representative of the company brand and mission in the community, this position is tasked with managing a team of part-time staff and contract grant writers, ensuring outstanding customer care and client relations, and identifying a limited number of new local and regional business opportunities.

The Arrowhead Regional Arts Countil has two available grant programs open currentlyâthe Established Regional Artist grant and the Emergency Working Artist grant. Deadline to apply for the grants is Friday, May 28 at 4:30 p.m.
The Established Regional Artist Grant Program provides larger project grants to working professional artists that represent the diversity of the region. For Fiscal year 2022, six grants of $8,000 will be awarded.Â
The Emergency Working Artist Grant provides $2,000 for working artists to do a work of art in the next six months and sustain themselves during the COVID-19 crisis. The art produced does not have to be specifically about the pandemic, but projects should be able to be done within the next six months. A portion of the grants will be set aside for teaching artists to pay for their time, an arts education project, or needed equipment to convert their work to new virtual requirements. A total of 24 grants are planned to be awarded.

Denise A. Tugade, 30, of Sacramento, has been appointed to the Court Reporters Board. Tugade has been a Government Relations Advocate at SEIU United Healthcare Workers West since 2020. She served as Legislative Director for State Assemblymember Christy Smith from 2019 to 2020. Tugade was the Assembly Democrats Volunteer and Mail Tree Program Coordinator for the Christy Smith for State Assembly Campaign in 2018. She was a Legislative Aide for State Assemblymember Lorena Gonzalez from 2018 to 2019 and Communications Director and a Legislative Assistant for then-State Assemblymember Monique Limon from 2017 to 2018. Tugade was a Senior Associate, AGILE and Human Centered Designed Lead and Social Media Manager at Cambria Solutions Inc. from 2015 to 2017. She was a District Coordinator at DelAgua Health Ltd. Rwanda in 2014. Tugade is an executive bo
