IGP orders cops to monitor proscribed outfits

PESHAWAR: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sanaullah Abbasi on Tuesday directed the police high-ups to keep a close eye on proscribed organisations and the anti-state elements.
An official handout said that he was presiding over a high-level meeting at the Central Police Office here. He directed the cops to pre-empt and prevent the nefarious designs of the terrorists with the active support and coordination of other law-enforcing agencies.
Commandant Elite Force, Additional IGP HQRs, DIG Inquiry and Inspection, CCPO Peshawar, DIG Special Branch, DIG Investigation, DIG CTD attended the meeting while the Regional Police Officers participated via video link from their respective regions.
Delhi govt forms oxygen audit committee to monitor stocks, consumption

Will also identify areas of wasteful consumption and suggest measures for economising use In the wake of acute shortage of medical oxygen in the national capital, the Delhi Government has formed a 24-member oxygen audit committee to ensure continuous monitoring of the oxygen stocks and their consumption.
The committee has been tasked to carry out daily stock of receipts, consumption and balance stock. It will ensure that the use of oxygen for management of Covid-19 patients is rational and per prescribed treatment protocols, official sources said. The committee will have to submit its report to the nodal officer-in-charge of the hospital latest by 5 pm everyday.
