NNPC posts $108m for crude oil, gas export sales in November – Report

It said that the amount indicated a 70.33 per cent increase compared to the October 2020 sales. “Crude oil export sales contributed 73.09million dollars (67.15 per cent) of the dollar transactions compared with 12.38 million dollars contribution in the previous month; while the export gas sales amounted to 35.75 million dollars in the month. “The total crude oil and gas export for the period of November 2019 to November 2020 stood at 2.89billion dollars,’’ it said. The report also revealed a trading surplus of ₦13.43billion for the month of November 2020 up by 54 per cent when compared to the ₦8.71billion surplus recorded in October 2020. It noted that the trading surplus or trading deficit was derived after deduction of the expenditure profile from the revenue in the period under review.

Nigeria s sales of petroleum products surges by 92%

By Prince Okafor The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Thursday, said its downstream subsidiary, Petroleum Products Marketing Company, PPMC, recorded a total of N158.04 billion from the sales of white product in the month of October 2020. This is an increase of 92 percent, when compared to N80.15 billion recorded on the previous month of the same year. White products include Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, also known as petrol, Dual Purpose Kerosene, DPK, and Automotive Gas Oil, also known as diesel. According to the corporation’s October 2020 edition Monthly Financial and Operations Reports, MFOR, made available to Vanguard by its group general manager, Group Public Affairs Division Kennie Obateru, a total revenues generated from the sales of white products for the period October 2019 to October 2020 stood at ₦1.95 trillion, with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) accounting for about 99.07% of the total sales with a value of over ₦1. 9 trillion.

Vanguard News Oil export revenue declines 41% On By Obas Esiedesa REVENUE from oil export fell by a whopping 41.44 percent to $2.033 billion in the first nine months of 2020, compared to $3.47 billion received in the corresponding period of 2019, data from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has revealed. NNPC had, in its September 2020 edition of the Monthly Financial and Operations Report (MFOR) disclosed that revenue from oil and gas export for the month of September, 2020, rose by 16 percent to $120.49 million. But a closer look at previous months’ data contrasted with corresponding months’ figures in 2019 which shows a huge cumulative decline in revenue from oil export.
