Thiruvananthapuram: The murder of a 15-year-old school student during the Padayanivettom temple festival at Vallikunnam in Kerala’s Alappuzha district has snowballed into a political row between the Bharatiya Janata Party and Communist Party of India (Marxist).
Abhimanyu, the Class X student, was stabbed to death during an altercation between two groups on Wednesday night.
As per the CPI(M), the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was behind the murder of Abhimanyu, who was reportedly a Students Federation of India (SFI) activist. “It was a clear political murder,” said CPI(M) Alappuzha district secretary R Nazar.
