Eco-conscious primary school pupils have visited a nearby wood to plant trees as part of the Plant Britain scheme.

He came up with the idea after watching an episode of the BBC Countryfile programme that encouraged people to plant trees in any space they had.
Plant Britain, by Countryfile, is two-year challenge aimed at galvanizing everyone in the nation to get planting â no matter how big or small.
