NMSU to host Aggie Accelerate program to help freshmen adapt August 5, 2021 New Mexico State University’s (NMSU) Aggie Accelerate program hosts 40 incoming freshmen students on campus from August 1 through 10. The newly-created program was developed to help students adjust to NMSU’s campus with a co-curricular and residential-based experience prior to the fall 2021 semester. The free program will help students to prepare for college-level English and mathematics with NMSU faculty providing instruction to augment student academic preparedness for the courses. Co-curricular activities will include leadership development, financial wellness, college life and academic success skills that are designed for student success. Students will have the chance to participate in social activities in and around Las Cruces.
