KALAMAZOO, Mich. Hundreds of employers will vie for candidates to fill full- and part-time jobs as well as internships and co-op positions during virtual career fairs beginning
Wednesday, Feb. 3. The Western Michigan University-organized events are free and open to the public, although they are tailored to college students and recent college graduates through virtual platforms that are safe, convenient and accessible.
Employers have posted jobs to the online career site Handshake. WMU s Career and Student Employment Services and the Zhang Career Center offer advising and resources to help students prepare for interviews and refine their resume. Intensive English & Academic Preparation Program
INTERLINK International Institute at Montana State University offers intensive English classes for all proficiency levels. INTERLINK is currently offering online English courses only. However, you can continue or start your classes online until INTERLINK resumes offering in-person courses. The Daily Universe
The annual Dean of Studentâs Photo Contest invites students to share their photography with the goal of increasing student contributions to the Wilkinson Student Center.
The contest opened Oct. 30 and runs to Jan. 29, 2021, with five different categories focusing on different aspects of student experiences, such as Student Unity & Inclusion and Student Portraits. The winning photos are displayed in the WSC. Students can submit photos at the competition’s website.
Past winners of the Dean of Student’s Photo Contest have their art hung around the second and third floor of the WSC. One of the contest’s goals is to showcase student talent. (Hannah Miner)
