BATHINDA: The Lambi police have booked Shiromani Akali Dal president and Ferozepur MP Sukhbir Singh Badal along with 150 others for violation of prohibitory orders.
A lot of persons, mainly activists of the SAD student wing, Students’ Organisation of India (SOI), had assembled at Sukhbir’s residence at the Badal village on Wednesday to celebrate the appointment of Robin Brar as the SOI president.
Former MLA among those booked in Lambi
Apart from Sukhbir, former MLA Harpreet Singh, Robin Brar, and one Bhim Warraich have been named in the case along with unidentified persons. The case has been registered under IPC Section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant).
