Decatur City Council set to discuss local mask order
Decatur City Council talking mask order By Eric Graves and Michael Wetzel | April 5, 2021 at 7:52 AM CDT - Updated April 5 at 8:22 AM
DECATUR, Ala. (WAFF) - As Alabama’s mask order is set to end Friday, April 9, the Decatur City Council members have a similar decision on their hands. At Monday’s city council meeting they’ll discus what to do with Decatur’s local mask order.
For a decision to be made on the mask order Monday night, the city council would need a unanimous vote for immediate consideration. If that happens, they can vote to repeal with a simple majority vote.
