Gov. Charlie Baker is expected to elaborate on the funding, as well as on the state’s updated vaccination timeline, at a news conference Wednesday morning in Brockton. “The funding will be used to increase trust, vaccine acceptance and administration rates as part of the administration’s vaccine equity initiative and to meet the needs of high-risk populations,” Health and Human Services Secretary Marylou Sudders said during the news briefing.
