That’s why she and several of her Midlakes softball teammates decided to take part in an Ontario County Public Health social media campaign urging youths from 16 up to 20 to get their vaccines.
The Public Health team’s I Got the Shot campaign involves a cell phone photo of family, friends or a selfie. The participant emails a photo with a brief reason why or for whom the vaccine was received, and the post is included on Public Health’s Facebook page.
