Lehigh Valley Health Network will now accept walk-ins for COVID-19 vaccinations at their Northampton County clinic.
LVHN announced Wednesday that their COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic-Northampton Crossings location at 3768 Easton Nazareth Highway in Lower Nazareth Township will allow patients age 18 and older to come in for their first dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine without an appointment.
The clinic launched the walk-in operation on Wednesday, and will run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Patients will be scheduled for their follow-up dose on site after their initial vaccination.
Those that wish to arrange an appointment for a vaccine at LVHN’s Northampton Crossings clinic, or at the Pocono, Hazleton, Schuylkill or MacArthur Road clinics, can do so on the respective locations’ websites, by utilizing their MyLVHN accounts, or by calling 1-833-584-6283 between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday or Sunday.

Lehigh Valley Health Network will hold its next mass-vaccination drive-through clinic in Northampton County on Thursday.
The April 29 clinic at Northampton Community College in Bethlehem Township will provide 3,500 initial doses of the two-dose Moderna vaccine, according to LVHN’s announcement on Friday. That brand is available to anyone 18 and older.
Appointments are required for the clinic, which will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. One can be scheduled through a MyLVHN account, online at LVHN.org/appointment or by calling 833-584-6283. The hotline is open 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.

After news broke last week that McDonald’s and Subway would pull locations from inside Walmart stores, it didn’t take long for the Golden Arches to clear out of one Lehigh Valley store.
By Saturday, nothing was left to show McDonald’s was ever inside the Walmart off of MacArthur Road in Whitehall Township.
